They tell the story of what inspired them to start their own brokerage, why they chose to affiliate with a nationally recognized brand, and how the journey has been - so far.
These bold leaders also share their wisdom and advice for those who are new to this path or starting to think about opening their own brokerage.

Debbie Wong - 30 yrs experience! Started out as wanting to earn money for Law School, and decided to stick with real estate! I have managed a branch for 10 years and have been a broker owner/owner for the last 6 years with 3 partners.
We have 300 associates in four offices. We service the San Francisco Bay Area south to Silicon Valley - and have continuously ranked in Real trends top 500 companies. This year we are on track to close $800M in GCI and do 750 sides. I currently sit on the Board of AAREA -- the Asian Real Estate Association of America and have served as past president of the organization.
Sharon McLennon is the broker for Coldwell Banker Splendor Realty, a woman-owned and operated franchisee in Lauderhill (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale) in Florida. She has been active in the real estate market for more than 20 years and prior to joining the Coldwell Banker network served as the broker of record for Splendor Realty. Throughout her real estate career, Sharon has participated in more than 1,000 transactions and has helped hundreds of consumers to purchase their first home.
Sharon also owns and operates a private property management company that provides management and maintenance support to private investors as well as condominium and home owner associations in the South Florida market.
She has served on several professional boards and committees including the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), the Broward Affordable Housing Task Force and the Grievance and Professional Standards committees of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale. Sharon was appointed to and currently serves on the Affordable Housing Advisory Councils of Lauderhill and the City of Pompano Beach. She is a past chair of the Lauderhill YMCA advisory board, past president of the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce and the South Florida Board of Realtists.
Sharon holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics and an MBA in Accounting. She is a Florida licensed real estate broker, real estate instructor, community association manager and a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
