Q1: What do you believe is the biggest opportunity for leaders in this time of crisis?

Reach out to others: agents, clients, family, friends. Who needs help? How can we help them? A dark and menacing storm is the perfect opportunity for leaders to shine their lights brightly. While some cower in fright, we can step out in confidence because we have faith that calms. You are in a position of influence. Be the positive inspiration others seek. One of my favorite inspirational quotes is, "You were born for such a moment as this."

Q2: What do you see as the biggest challenge for leaders in this time of crisis?

One leadership challenge will be anticipating the economy of the future and re-positioning your organization to take advantage of this paradigm shift. How to bullet-proof your company by turning threats into opportunities? It takes extensive planning to sail away from ultra-competitive "red oceans" into clear, serene blue waters where you can dominate the market. It takes a crystal clear vision of the future economic demand.

Q3: What advice and resources are you sharing the most?

I hope to impact others with the message of education. This is the perfect time to learn business skills. Examine your company: which strengths can you leverage? Your competitive advantage can crush the market if positioned properly. On the other side, how can you minimize your weaknesses? Delegate, automate, or outsource those areas. Develop your skills in all areas and master the business planning process. And as you learn, reach back and pull others up with you. Always share and come from contribution.

Q4: What tips do you have for leaders on how to communicate effectively during a crisis?

First recognize that every person, every family, and every business has been affected in some way by this current crisis. No one's life is the same "normal", so adjust your expectations accordingly. Speak kindly, make allowances, and extend grace freely. How can you be, in their perspective, a trustworthy leader upon whom they can depend? Second (and this applies whether or not there is a crisis), appreciate every person for their unique talents, skills, and characteristics. Approach people with an attitude of gratitude. Find something you like about each person with whom you interact. Additional Words of Wisdom

Thanks for your unwavering support. Love you all and I'm grateful for each of you!
