We have a very special show for you today which is focused on the topic of real estate investing, a vehicle that more and more women are finding holds the key to financial strength and security. I have three fabulous guests who have all been strong proponents of getting women into investments properties and creating a life of flexibility, opportunity and financial freedom. It's pretty exciting stuff. The book we will be referencing is The Only Woman in the Room compiled by Ashley Wilson – a book of knowledge and inspiration from 20 women real estate investors.
My guests are three women who have each in their own way been trailblazers in educating women on the advantages and nuts and bolts of real estate investing. And each has also walked the walk in their own lives. I can’t imagine a more experienced or relevant group of women to talk to today on this important topic. Let’s start with this: the book contained the stories of 20 different women and their unique experience with real estate investing. And yet, there were common themes running through them all. What are the three central themes that resonated with you the most?
Imagine the second edition of this book is coming out soon and you are asked to write a chapter. What would your story be?
What were the biggest rookie mistakes that stood out for you and how would you advise others to avoid them?
